Application Versions

The following are the current versions of software we regularly use or install on computers. If you are running an older version it is recommended to upgrade to these versions.

• OpenOffice.org - 3.0.0
• Scribus - 1.3.3.12
• Inkscape - 0.46
• Firefox - 3.0
• Thunderbird - 2.0.0.18
• GIMP - 2.6.3

Any CD that we provide will have these versions. For older versions visit the application web sites.

In some cases there may be a new version. We don't always upgrade immediately because localised builds may not always be available (e.g. Open Office may be in English but no localised build in Italian) or Firefox may be upgraded but an extension may not work.
